Chris graduated from Grant MacEwan College in 1998 with a degree in Management Studies and immediately entered the investment industry, initially working with Desjardins Financial Security. In 2000, Chris started Forward Thinking Financial Services Inc. to provide his clients with objective life & health insurance and financial planning options. 

In 2001 Chris transitioned his investment practice over to Manulife Securities, where he has remained since.

Specializing in financial planning for families and small business owners in Alberta, Chris will develop and implement a timely, flexible and accessible financial plan. This planning process will help clients achieve life goals such as planning for retirement, children’s education, and buying or selling a business.   • My business is built on trust and respect. The client must trust the advice and planning options presented in order to work with me. The reverse must also be true for me to begin the detailed process of developing a financial and/or succession plan.

  • Confidentiality and privacy of the information entrusted to me is of utmost importance. I guarantee that if anyone else hears about the discussions we've had, it is because you've told them yourself!

  • I work with my clients to develop the best solution for their circumstances and unique situations. In many cases the best solution involves a decision between the lowest cost and the best features. My commitment to you is to provide you with solid financial advice unique to your situation.

  • Integrity is absolutely necessary to a successful business relationship. I provide my clients with accurate and concise data relevant to them. All reports, summaries and other information requested will be presented in a manner that is easy to understand and accurately reflects the data requested.

  • Part of my commitment to outstanding service involves continued education and personal development within the financial services industry. This involves training courses and related designations, seminars and networking. All of this is done to ensure that the most up-to-date products and services are available to my clients.

  • Full disclosure of all information pertinent to the plans I design with our clients is necessary. Clients will be advised of costs, fees, charges, etc. before they agree to the recommended solution.   • Regular contact is mandatory for the planner and the client alike. I will provide periodic updates and reviews of all accounts at least quarterly. When a new idea comes to my attention I will present it to you. In return, you must inform me of any changes that affect the outcome of your long-term financial goals.

  • I strive to be as available as possible to my clients. All calls, faxes and e-mails will be returned within 24 hours.
